Chiropractic Reduces the Risk of Getting Pinched Nerves, Muscle Spasms and Numbness

Chiropractic care has a profound effect on minimizing pinched nerves, muscle spasms and numbness.  I’m such a firm believer that for the last twenty years, I’ve gotten a chiropractic adjustment every week and I get a massage every week. I have had no problems and never had an issue. Everybody says, “Gosh, you must have a lot of aches and pains.” Well,  I’m sixty-seven and I don’t have any aches and pains and I’m a national champion competitive dancer. I don’t have any problems. Everybody I know is having surgeries.

It’s like going to the dentist. If you do your preventative work at the dentist, you’re going to have way fewer problems. And I know that not everybody is going to be motivated to do the amount of preventative work that I do. But keeping the spine mobile is the most important thing. I don’t know if you’ve ever paid attention – but, I was recently around some older friends at one of their parties and first thing I noticed is that they were all so stiff. Every time they would turn their head, it wouldn’t turn. They had to turn their whole body. Their posture was so stooped! I was like, “Oh my gosh! We’ve got to address these kinds of problems.” So flexibility and posture, super critical. So I take yoga. Yoga helps keep you limber. The massages help keep you limber.

Many of our patients are on wellness programs.  I always encourage people to buy into the dream that they can live to be one-hundred without problems. Some patients won’t buy into that dream because all they know is the heartache of getting old and hurting. And I say, “You know, there’s a different model than that. There’s a model of aging gracefully, being active and being alert and I’d shoot for that dream.”

So we help show them and inspire them. All my staff is over fifty and they’re all healthy and active. It’s a great model. We encourage them to eat appropriately and control their weight. That’s a huge factor in longevity. So the name of our clinic is called Creating Wellness and we changed that about ten years ago because that’s truly what we do. That’s what our product is. So we try to live it and we expect our patients to live it. And they come in and we brag on them when they do things that we want them to do. So never give up! Always believe that you can do better and you can be better and come see us, let us help you get better. So give us a call.
